Edwin James King is the pen name of Ferdi McDermott, an experienced teacher of English literature, and Editor of the recently published Inn of Dreams (2015 edition) which contains an extensive biographical sketch on Olive Custance, the longest to date. He is working on the publication of her Collected Poems for 2026.

I have it all gathered. I just need to find a spare 2 or months to sit down and get it finished. I have doctorate in education to finish first. I am sorry it has taken me 7 years to get around to answering you … maybe it is a good omen.

I was delighted to find this site as I am writing a book about women in fin-de siecle Paris and would like to feature Olive Custance. It is lovely to see appreciation of her poetry.
